sway

I got an email recently from Perla of Sway, a new fashion website launching soon. The concept of the site is pretty cool: Sway presents an article of clothing produced by them in a daily deal to their community at wholesale. After a twenty-four hour flash sale, the piece is sold at full retail to the rest of the world. It launches next week and you can join here (if you use this link, you'll receive a $10 gift certificate once they officially launch). Also, see a video of the Sway photoshoot to get a peek at what they're about.

etsy shop: white owl

Happy Mother's Day! I'm about to go to lunch and have a shopping adventure with my mom, but while I'm waiting, I thought I would share these gorgeous lace necklaces I found. White Owl are two sisters in Detroit who love vintage and handmade items. They re-purpose materials into jewelry that's a mix of old and new.

catherine hammerton

Catherine Hammerton's wallpaper is unlike most out there. It has a handmade aesthetic and is silkscreen printed and hand finished with sewing and cutting techniques. I love these; they're so unique and pretty.

grove iphone cases

I don't have an iPhone, but if I did, I think it would look super awesome in one of these laser engraved bamboo cases from Grove. Artist series cases are $99 and plain cases are $89.

jónsi: go

Go is the debut solo album from Jónsi (of Sigur Rós). This album is more lyrical than his previous projects and is really cinematic and beautiful sounding. I'm loving it more and more, the more I listen to it. Notable songs: Go Do, Animal Arithmetic, Tornado, Boy Lilikoi, Kolniður.

summer sandals

Summer's coming (even though here it's still 40 degrees) and I'm loving all these options for sandals. It's hard to choose which ones I like best. Which ones would you wear?
