write a bike

Being that I ride a bike, I naturally love these illustrations by Juri Zaech. The best part is that they are trying to get a prototype made of one of these. I would totally want a bike with my name on it.

animals + poolga

Two wallpapers of mine debuted on Poolga this morning! If you follow what I am up to, you might notice the animal illustrations are from my calendar for next year (which should be done really soon). I thought they could make fun phone wallpapers too. If you have an iPhone or iPad, get over to Poolga and download from there. There are a plethora of other designs to choose from as well.

wine + spirits packaging

Sometimes the packages for wine and spirits have the coolest labels. I just want to collect all of these bottles and not necessarily drink what is in them.

david burdeny

I really love the feel of David Burdeny's photographs, especially the ones in the Sacred & Secular section. The way he photographs places makes me want to visit every location he has shot.

built by wendy fall 10

Built By Wendy's Fall 10 line is drawn from the past, from the architecture and design of post-war Germany’s Bauhaus Movement and its utopian definition to the photography of Josef Koudelka, whose black and white images of eastern European youths-in-revolt provide a dramatic background for the season. The overall look and feel suggest a hopeful rebellion against an industrial background as well as a respect for practical material.

seesaw + 2011 calendar

I have Seesaw's 2010 calendar and love it, but they have really outdone themselves with next year's calendar! Their new one is done in metallic foil and warm grey letterpress and is inspired by vintage textiles, geometric shapes, and the beautiful imperfections of hand-drawn illustration. Each calendar contains six pages (two months on a page) that are perforated so you can frame the art or use it as a postcard later. I already have mine and it is so good-looking in person. Get yours here for $32.
